Engstrom Properties, Inc. has been built on a history of hard work, integrity, cooperation and dedication. By incorporating these values, Engstrom Properties, Inc. has been able to grow from a property management firm overseeing a handful of properties to a portfolio in excess of 1.4 million square feet.

The company has its origins in 1986, while being incorporated by brothers Mark and Jim Engstrom. Having grown up in the retail business Mark and Jim began developing and managing single tenant retail and shopping center projects in the Sacramento region.

The two brothers have established a strong knowledge in real estate and their respective emphasis complements one anther. Mark focuses on the real estate development aspect of the business and is Partner with Cassidy Turley/BT Commercial, while Jim is a Principal with Ullrich Delevati as a Certified Public Accountant overseeing the day to day accounting for Engstrom Properties, Inc.

Engstrom Properties, Inc. been successful in a wide variety of real estate projects- from new construction to renovation of blighted properties, including Historic Renovations, such as the Hotel Woodland. Today, some of those initial projects remain a part of the Engstrom Properties portfolio, including multiple grocery anchored shopping centers, power centers, and office and industrial space with tenants such as, Nugget Market, Food 4 Less, Ross Dress for Less, Big Lots, Raley’s, Tractor Supply, Fresh & Easy, and Grocery Outlet.

Since its inception, Engstrom Properties, Inc. has been committed to developing, purchasing, and managing income and investment properties focusing on long-term investment. The commitment remains the same today.

Our Philosophy

Engstrom Properties, Inc. offers a wide spectrum of services, such as development, asset management, joint venture opportunities, and property management to accomplish the identified goals. Currently, the majority of the real estate assets within the portfolio are owned by a special purpose entity with varied interests. Engstrom Properties approach is to focus on asset management and investment opportunities with long-term upside for each entity.

Our excellent relationship with the brokerage community, financial institutions, and local government agencies enables us to be aware of investment assets before the availability becomes widely known, establish financing in a timely fashion, and coordinate the necessary steps with local official to ensure a successful result.
